Dear Rochesterian Community:
This semester, within the extracurricular dance and music groups from Transición to Twelfth Grade, was a balm of positive energy, of meeting again with smiles, of feeling again the body in communion with other bodies, of perceiving ourselves as groups assembled to the sound of musical notes and vibrant songs, to do what we all love the most from the indisputable work of teaching and learning to see the world from the magical lens of art.
The artists who performed last Friday, December 3 at 5:00 p.m. are of all ages, genders and colors. We met from the diversity, interculturality and globality of a repertoire that reminds us how small the world is when we sing, dance and play an instrument. We challenged the difficult, we challenged the complex, we moved in the cadenced waters of rhythm and we colored that night with brushstrokes of hope, faith and gratitude. Gratitude for being here and now with you when so many that we remember are no longer here; faith because the certainty and security of being together allowed us to reach that moment; hope because only from the immensity of this word we were able to overcome the great obstacles that we lived in every corner of the universe in this last year and a half.
And our guest musical group from the FEL Foundation, ratified our values, from the three songs they gave us: La Piragua, Piel Canela and Soy, the latter being the anthem of the Foundation, composed by the same girl who sang it, Danna García. FEL filled the night with special smiles, hope, tenacity, love for life and constant improvement.
We congratulate all parents, students, teachers, event and logistics team, infrastructure, food and administration, for their purpose, teamwork, excellence and improvement.

Equipo A New Christmas Hope, Faith and Gratitude ECO Extraclasses
Resumen: Querida Comunidad Rochesteriana:
Este semestre que transcurrió al interior de los grupos extracurriculares de danza y música desde Jardín a Undécimo Grado, fue un bálsamo de energía positiva, de reencontrarnos con sonrisas, de volver a sentir el cuerpo en comunión con los otros cuerpos, de percibirnos como grupos ensamblados al son de las notas musicales y los cantos vibrantes, para hacer lo que más amamos todos desde la indiscutible labor de enseñar y aprender a ver el mundo desde el lente mágico del arte.
Los artistas que se presentaron el viernes pasado, 3 de diciembre a las 5:00 p.m. son de todas las edades, géneros y colores. Nos encontramos con ustedes desde la diversidad, la interculturalidad y la globalidad de un repertorio que nos recuerda lo pequeño que es el mundo cuando cantamos, bailamos y tocamos un instrumento. Desafiamos lo difícil, retamos lo complejo, nos movimos en las aguas cadenciosas del ritmo y coloreamos esa noche con pinceladas de esperanza, fe y gratitud. Gratitud por estar aquí y ahora con ustedes cuando tantos que recordamos ya no están; fe porque la certeza y la seguridad de estar juntos nos permitió llegar hasta ese momento; esperanza porque sólo desde la inmensidad de esta palabra logramos superar los grandes obstáculos que vivimos en cada rincón del universo en este último año y medio.
Y nuestro grupo musical invitado de Fundación FEL, ratificó nuestros valores, desde las tres canciones que nos brindaron: La Piragua, Piel Canela y Soy, siendo este último, el himno de la Fundación, compuesto por la misma niña que lo cantó, ……….. (favor averiguar el nombre con Tatiana). FEL nos llenó la noche de sonrisas especiales, esperanza, tenacidad, amor por la vida y superación constante.
Felicitamos a todos los padres, estudiantes, maestros, equipo de eventos y logística, infraestructura, alimentos y administración, por su constancia de propósito, trabajo en equipo, excelencia y mejoramiento.
