Ash Wednesday is the first day of Lent in the Catholic liturgical calendar. The imposition of ashes is the characteristic rite of this celebration, it marks the beginning of the 40 days prior to the resurrection of Jesus, where we transform our hearts with actions and thoughts that contribute to having quality relationships with him.
Last February 16, in our Ash Wednesday celebration, the Lower Primary students enjoyed a special moment to self-evaluate their behaviors, they understood that the time of Lent begins with the imposition of ashes on the forehead, associating it with self-evaluation where Students will have 40 days to reflect and transform their hearts, to have them ready and welcome EASTER, with a purer heart to receive the resurrected Jesus.
Miércoles de ceniza, transformando tu corazón

El Miércoles de Ceniza es el primer día de Cuaresma en el calendario litúrgico católico. La imposición de la ceniza es el rito característico de esta celebración, la marca el inicio de los 40 días previos a la resurrección de Jesús, donde trasformamos nuestro corazón con acciones, pensamientos que aportan a tener relaciones de calidad con él.
El pasado 16 de febrero, en nuestra celebración de miércoles de ceniza, los estudiantes de Primaria Baja disfrutaron un especial momento para autoevaluar sus comportamientos, comprendieron que el tiempo de cuaresma inicia con la imposición de la ceniza en la frente, asociándolo con autoevaluación donde los estudiantes tendrán 40 días para reflexionar y transformar su corazón, para tenerlo listo y darle la bienvenida a la PASCUA, con un corazón más puro para recibir a Jesús que resucita.
