The Baby Lions Children Development Center seeks to promote and strengthen the skills and harmonious development of babies, different adventures are experienced every day.
During the year 2023, 5 girls between 9 and 19 months old attended. Last semester, a planting project was carried out with the babies and their parents. Each family planted a strawberry plant; They learned about the needs of plants and their growth cycle, the care they require to finally harvest the fruits in a healthy and sustainable way.
The first step was to teach the babies through a role play: How to plant a seed? the care and nutrients necessary to grow: soil, water and sun; Later, the parents each brought their pot and their strawberry plant; Each baby was in charge of decorating their pot with paint.
On planting day we had the collaboration of Bautista, who led and modeled the instructions for planting.
During the following months, each baby watered the plant twice a week, and flowers and some fruits were found; Finally, in December each one took their pot home to continue caring for it and harvest its fruits as a family.
This idea arises from the approach of activities and skill development articulated with the Preschool grades, the Baby Lions Development Center promotes projects where the development of useful life skills is encouraged through experimentation, play and movement; In addition to planting, projects related to marine animals, fruits and colors have been carried out.
By developing this type of projects, comprehensive development and learning is enhanced, sensory activities become lead characters and generate unique and special bonds between the participants and the teacher.
Babies have the opportunity to experiment, explore and learn at their own pace and according to their moment of development, the emergence of associations, patterns and daily discovery fill the development center every day.
Centro de desarrollo Baby Lions, Semillero de descubrimiento y aprendizaje

El centro de desarrollo infantil Baby Lions, busca fomentar y fortalecer las habilidades y el desarrollo armónico de los bebés, cada día se viven diferentes aventuras.
Durante el año 2023, asistieron 5 niñas con edades entre los 9 y 19 meses de edad. Ell semestre pasado se realizó un proyecto de siembra con las bebés y sus padres, cada familia sembró una planta de fresa; aprendieron acerca de las necesidades de las plantas y su ciclo de crecimiento, los cuidados que requieren para finalmente recolectar los frutos de una manera saludable y sostenible.
El primer paso fue enseñar a las bebés a través de una dramatización: ¿Cómo sembrar una semilla? los cuidados y los nutrientes necesarios para crecer: tierra, agua y sol; posteriormente, los padres trajeron cada uno su matera y su planta de fresa; cada bebé se encargó de decorar su matera con pintura.
El día de la siembra contamos con la colaboración de Bautista, quien lideró y modeló las instrucciones para sembrar.
Durante los siguientes meses cada bebé regaba su planta dos veces por semana, y se fueron encontrando flores y algunos frutos; finalmente, en diciembre cada una se llevó su matera a casa para seguir cuidándola y cosechar sus frutos en familia.
Esta idea surge del planteamiento de actividades y desarrollo de habilidades articulada con los grados de Preescolar, el centro de desarrollo Baby Lions promueve proyectos donde se incentiva el desarrollo de habilidades útiles para vida a través de la experimentación, el juego y el movimiento; además de la siembra se han realizado proyectos relacionados con los animales marinos, las frutas y los colores.
Al desarrollar este tipo de proyectos se potencia el desarrollo y aprendizaje integral, las actividades de carácter sensorial se hacen protagonistas y generan vínculos únicos y especiales entre los participantes y el docente.
Los bebés tienen la oportunidad de experimentar, explorar y aprender a su propio ritmo y de acuerdo a su momento de desarrollo, la aparición de asociaciones, patrones y el descubrimiento diario llenan el centro de desarrollo todos los días.
