El próximo viernes, 24 de mayo, 60 estudiantes de grados Noveno y Décimo celebrarán el sacramento de la Confirmación. La ceremonia se realizará en la auditería del Colegio y será presidida por el señor Obispo Monseñor Juan Vicente Córdoba de la Diócesis de Fontibón y el Padre Luis Norberto Guzmán, Capellán del colegio.
Desde hace siete meses se vienen preparando cada lunes para esta gran fiesta. Dios, por medio de las manos de Monseñor, enviará a su Espíritu Santo para que descienda sobre los jóvenes, así como Él lo hizo sobre la Virgen María y los 12 apóstoles para que ellos, a partir de ese momento, fueran mensajeros de paz, de armonía pero, sobre todo, mensajeros de la palabra de Dios.
La unción con el Santo Crisma que va a recibir cada uno de los confirmandos es como un signo de llevar el olor de Cristo, así como la Samaritana ungió a Cristo, así mismo él nos unge por medio del Espíritu Santo, para limpiarnos y así llevar su aroma siempre con nosotros.
¡Felicitaciones a los confirmandos, quienes darán un paso importante en su vida y estarán dispuestos a salir y confirmar el don que recibieron en el bautismo de ser luz en el mundo!

Celebration of the Sacrament of Confirmation
Next Friday, May 24, 60 students from Tenth and Eleventh grades will celebrate the sacrament of Confirmation. The ceremony will be held at the school's auditeria and will be presided over by Bishop Monsignor Juan Vicente Córdoba of the Diocese of Fontibón, and Father Luis Norberto Guzman, Chaplain of the school.
For seven months they have been preparing every Monday for this great celebration. God, through the hands of Monsignor, will send his Holy Spirit to descend on the young students, just as He did on the Virgin Mary and the 12 apostles, so that from that moment on they could become messengers of peace, harmony, and above all, messengers of the word of God.
The anointing with the Holy Chrism that each of the confirmands will receive is like a sign of carrying the smell of Christ, just as the Samaritan woman anointed Christ, in the same way he anoints us through the Holy Spirit to cleanse us and thus carry his aroma always with us.
Congratulations to those who will receive the sacrament of confirmation, as they will take an important step in their lives and will be willing to go out and confirm the gift they received in baptism of being a light in the world!
