With great joy and enthusiasm we share with you that last Monday, January 29th, the Bilingualism Program English for Chia began, thanks to a joint effort between the multinational company Wood PLC and the Rochester Educational Foundation, in collaboration with Rochester School, seeking to promote the learning of English as a second language, providing opportunities that close educational gaps, to 23 students from vulnerable families selected from the Official Educational Institution Fonquetá.
This program not only seeks to improve the language skills of the 23 students, but also to open doors to a future full of possibilities. English has become a fundamental requirement in the world of business and academia, which is why the program is designed to provide students with the necessary tools to excel in a globalized environment. The financial and logistical support provided by Wood and FER has been crucial to the launch of this program, inspired by SDG #4: Ensure inclusive and equitable quality education and promote lifelong learning opportunities for all.
Thus, the newEnglish for ChiaProgram marks a significant step forward for the neighboring communities of Chia. The collaboration between Wood and FER highlights the importance of cooperation between different sectors to drive educational and community development.
This is just the beginning of a journey that promises to enrich the lives of students and contribute to the sustainable progress of the community!

Inglés para Chía: ¡Se convierte en realidad el Programa de Bilingüismo para 23 Estudiantes de la Institución Educativa Oficial Fonquetá!

Con mucha alegría y entusiasmo les compartimos que el pasado lunes, 29 de enero, se dio inicio al Programa de Inglés para Chía, gracias a un esfuerzo conjunto entre la multinacional Wood y la Fundación Educativa Rochester, en colaboración con el Colegio Rochester, el cual busca impulsar el aprendizaje del inglés como segunda lengua, brindando oportunidades que cierran las brechas educativas, a 23 estudiantes de familias vulnerables seleccionados de la Institución Educativa Oficial Fonquetá.
Este programa no sólo busca mejorar las habilidades lingüísticas de los 23 estudiantes sino también abrir puertas a un futuro lleno de posibilidades. El inglés se ha convertido en un requisito fundamental en el mundo laboral y académico, razón por la cual el programa está diseñado para dotar a los estudiantes con las herramientas necesarias para sobresalir en un entorno globalizado. El apoyo económico y logístico proporcionado por Wood y la Fundación Educativa Rochester ha sido crucial para el lanzamiento de este programa, inspirados en el ODS # 4: Garantizar una educación inclusiva, equitativa y de calidad y promover oportunidades de aprendizaje durante toda la vida para todos.Así pues, el nuevo
