Como Directora Fundadora de Smart Global Invest y Consultores Boutique en Seguros, y con un historial notable como la número uno en ventas de Seguros Educativos desde el 2018 en Global Education, Salma ha hecho de su misión personal brindar tranquilidad financiera a través de la planificación educativa. “¡En el colegio siempre fui feliz! Siento que tuve un balance entre lo académico, las actividades deportivas y artísticas y pude ir evolucionando en encontrar mis intereses y habilidades. Todo esto influye en lo que he logrado en mi carrera profesional, ya que son las bases que tengo en mi mente y mi corazón desde niña. El Colegio Rochester es un colegio que permite que soñemos en grande. El Rochester te deja ser auténtico y maximizar tu potencial. Puedes explorar siendo creativo y eso abre la mente.
Tengo una agencia donde asesoramos a familias para proteger su patrimonio y lograr sueños y uno de los sueños que tenemos como padres es poder brindar el mejor futuro educativo a nuestros hijos. Tener esa tranquilidad no tiene precio y eso es lo que yo hago a través de mi trabajo: llevar esa tranquilidad a las familias. Una profesora que me inspiró fue Miss Mireya y la clase de Arte era de mis favoritas. Yo pintaba desde muy pequeña, lo disfruté mucho y siempre llegaban ideas a mi mente en ese espacio de creación. Ella me inspiraba para saber que podía hacerlo bien y me daba mucha confianza. Construir una autoestima alta y creer en tus habilidades es importante, y eso lo puedes trasladar a diferentes ámbitos de tu vida. Para lograr siempre tus metas tienes que creer en ti.
El Colegio Rochester me ayudó a afianzar muchos valores como la ética, el respeto y el compañerismo, los cuales han influido porque todo esto hace parte del carácter que forjamos. Las habilidades que trabajé desde el colegio como la expresión oral, me ayudaron a convertirme en buena presentadora; la creatividad me ha inspirado a inventar e innovar constantemente en mi trabajo. El compromiso conmigo misma y el reto personal de cumplir, me han enseñado a no rendirme, a perseverar, a ser guerrera y a levantarme después de cada caída. A los estudiantes les digo: busquen desarrollar sus habilidades en algo que genuinamente les guste, les apasione, algo que disfruten, sueñen en grande y no se rindan nunca.
En mi trabajo es muy importante tener un buen relacionamiento y crear alianzas para que podamos crecer, pues creo firmemente en el trabajo colaborativo donde todos ganamos. En el colegio siempre fui organizada y metódica, al igual que creativa, lo cual me ha ayudado mucho en mi trabajo. Me gusta planear y, sobre todo, actuar; soy del lema “mejor hecho que perfecto”. Cuando empecé como asesora, me encontré con el desafío de que en mi entorno las personas querían resultados inmediatos y yo sabía que tenía que pasar por un proceso para lograr metas. Hay que sembrar para recoger, pero hay que sembrar bien. Hay que tener paciencia, confiar en el proceso y tener Fe, creer siempre en uno mismo, sin importar lo que digan los demás.
El trabajo como asesora de Global Education, teniendo hoy la distribución más grande en facturación en el país, es el resultado de un trabajo constante, de hacer algo por tu negocio, de seguir un método, de confiar en que cada pequeño paso te acerca a tus objetivos. Creo que el secreto principal ha sido realmente interesarme en las necesidades de mis clientes, entenderlos y buscar las soluciones financieras que los llevan a cumplir metas y sueños.
Y con relación a mi equipo, disfruto mucho verlos crecer y disfruto enseñar. Así que mi sueño ahora es que las personas que trabajen conmigo crezcan y logren sus metas.
A los estudiantes del colegio les digo: si tienen un sueño, trabajen para lograrlo, con decisión y entusiasmo: ¡no se rindan y siempre crean en ustedes!”

"I was always happy at school! I feel I found balance between academics, sports and artistic activities and I was able to evolve in finding my interests and abilities. All of this influences what I have achieved in my professional career, since these are the foundations I hold in my mind and heart since I was a child. Rochester is a school that allows us to dream big. Rochester allows you to be authentic and maximize your potential. You can explore there by being creative and that opens your mind.
I have an agency where we advise families to protect their assets and achieve their dreams, and one of the dreams we have as parents is to be able to provide the best educational future for our children. Having that peace of mind is priceless and that is what I do through my work: bring that peace of mind to families. One teacher who inspired me was Miss Mireya and her Art class was one of my favorites. I painted since I was very young, I enjoyed it very much and ideas always came to my mind in that space of creation. She inspired me to know that I could do well and helped me feel confident. Building a high self-esteem and believing in your abilities is important, and you can transfer that to different areas of your life. To always achieve your goals you have to believe in yourself.
Rochester School helped me strengthen many values such as ethics, respect and fellowship, which have influenced me because all this is part of the character that we forge. The skills I worked on at school, such as oral expression, helped me become a good presenter; creativity has inspired me to constantly invent and innovate in my work. The commitment to myself and the personal challenge of accomplishment have taught me to never give up, to persevere, to be a warrior and to get up after every fall. I tell students: seek to develop your skills into something you genuinely love, something you feel passionate about, something you enjoy, dream big, and never give up.
In my line of work it is very important to have good relations and create partnerships so that we can grow, because I firmly believe in collaborative work where everyone wins. At school I was always organized and methodical, as well as creative, and this has helped me greatly in my work. I like to plan and, above all, to act; I am of the motto "better done than perfect". When I started as a consultant, I was faced with the challenge that in my field people wanted immediate results and I knew that I had to go through a process to achieve my goals. You have to sow to reap, but you have to sow well. You have to have patience, trust in the process and have faith, always believe in yourself, regardless of what others say.
The work as a Global Education advisor, having today the largest distribution in turnover in the country, is the result of constant work, of doing something for your business, of following a method, of trusting that each small step brings you closer to your goals. I believe that the main secret has been to be really interested in the needs of my clients, to understand them and to look for financial solutions that lead them to fulfill their goals and dreams.
And regarding my team, I really enjoy watching them grow and I enjoy teaching. So my dream now is seeing the people who work with me grow and achieve their goals.
To the students of the school I say: if you have a dream, work to achieve it, with determination and enthusiasm: don't give up and always believe in yourself!"
