With great pride we present to you our AP Program from College Board, specially designed for our 12th Grade students. We started this program 4 years ago in our effort to provide students with more opportunities to study abroad or enroll in a national university, which gives college credit. In addition, the AP® Program offers college-level courses to help students prepare for their university experiences. The AP® Program is part of our international education complying with our commitment as members of the Council of International School – CIS.
Starting this year, all the students enrolled in Math and/or Natural Science AP Courses will present the corresponding exam in May 2021.
Why taking an AP course and the exams?
✔ Taking these courses and exams will let students earn college credits and skip introductory courses in college.
✔ Taking these courses shows colleges that you have a high demanding curriculum.
✔ Research consistently shows that AP students are better prepared for college than students who don’t take AP.
✔ Taking AP can help students get a taste of college, develop college skills, and discover passions.
✔ It allows for blended learning because the AP classroom platform will enable students to advance at their own pace and prepare for the exams independently.
✔ In Colombia, Andes, Rosario, Javeriana, CESA, and Sabana Universities accept these courses.

Resumen: Nos sentimos orgullosos de presentar el Programa AP de College Board, especialmente diseñado para nuestros estudiantes de Undécimo grado. Iniciamos este programa hace 4 años en nuestro esfuerzo para proveer a los estudiantes con mayores oportunidades de estudio en el exterior o en las universidades nacionales que validan créditos por estas asignaturas. Adicionalmente, el Programa AP ofrece cursos de nivel universitario para preparar a los estudiantes para sus nuevas experiencias universitarias. El Programa AP es parte de nuestra educación internacional cumpliendo con nuestro compromiso como miembros del Consejo de Colegios Internacionales – CIS. Comenzando este año, todos los estudiantes inscritos en los cursos AP de Matemáticas y/o Ciencias Naturales presentarán el examen correspondiente en mayo del 2021.
