9th Grade students are using different strategies to learn and demonstrate proficiency in their learning in Advanced Algebra and Logarithmic and Exponential functions, specifically on the topics related to Factoring and the implementation of the “Algebra Tiles”. Also, 11th Graders were developing a laboratory where they used their knowledge on Logarithmic and Exponential function to analyze the behavior of the water in a specific situation.
Resumen: los estudiantes de grados 8º y 10º están usando diversas estrategias para aprender y demostrar competencia en su aprendizaje en Algebra Avanzada y Funciones Exponenciales y Logarítmicas. Adicionalmente, están trabajando en los temas de factorización y la implementación del laboratorio del comportamiento del agua en una situación controlada para el uso de las funciones exponenciales y logarítmicas.
