Kindergarten students are leading a project about the ocean. In the last few weeks, we have been focusing on the care and protection of the ocean. The children have been investigating the human footprint on the ocean such as the disproportionate use of plastic, the waste of water, the irresponsible hunting of animals, and the mismanagement of waste. In order to raise awareness of this impact, the children have decided to transform their minds like those of a superhero, promising to take care of the planet's beaches and seas. In small groups, they did a collaborative work where they created super heroes and super heroines with special powers to help the oceans such as "sucking garbage from the sea" and "protecting animals from hunters”.
Héroes del Océano: Buscando un Futuro más Limpio

Los estudiantes de Jardín están liderando un proyecto sobre el océano. En estas últimas semanas, nos hemos enfocado en el cuidado y la protección de este. Los niños han venido investigando sobre la huella que deja el hombre en el océano, como el uso desproporcionado del plástico, el malgasto del agua, la caza irresponsable de animales, y el mal manejo de residuos. Para poder concientizarnos cada vez más de este impacto, los niños han decidido transformar sus mentes como los de un superhéroe, que prometen cuidar las playas y los mares del planeta. En grupos pequeños, hicieron un trabajo colaborativo donde crearon superhéroes y superheroínas con poderes especiales que ayudaran a los océanos como “succionar la basura del mar” y “proteger a los animales de los cazadores”.
