Para la Fundación Educativa Rochester, el proyecto de Pan Compartido, no solo comparte alimentos, comparte esperanza, solidaridad y educación. Esta iniciativa ha tocado los corazones de 33 familias de las instituciones Educativas Oficiales Fonquetá y Fusca, gracias al apoyo incondicional de los padres de familia y colaboradores del Colegio Rochester.
El objetivo de Pan Compartido va alineado con algunos de los Objetivos de Desarrollo Sostenible: el ODS 2: Hambre Cero, el ODS 4: Educación de Calidad y el ODS 10: Reducción de las Desigualdades. Esta es la Entrega de Abril de 2024, séptima entrega de mercados, los cuales han sido organizados con gran esfuerzo y dedicación por estudiantes de Séptimo Grado, de Servicio Social y el Equipo de Sostenibilidad de la FER. Los productos donados llevan alimentos a las familias focalizadas, a las cuales pertenecen los estudiantes de los programas de bilingüismo, con el propósito de garantizar una alimentación balanceada.
Este proyecto solidario de la FER es un ejemplo de trabajo en equipo, de cómo la unión de esfuerzos puede tener un impacto significativo en la comunidad. Cada gesto de solidaridad, por pequeño que parezca, suma para construir un mundo más justo y equitativo para todos. Este proyecto no solo comparte pan, comparte amor, oportunidades y esperanza.
El Pan Compartido es una forma de mostrar que juntos podemos lograr grandes metas y aportar en la vida de quienes más lo necesitan.

Shared Bread: A Project that Transforms Lives
For the Rochester Educational Foundation, the Shared Bread project not only shares food, but also shares hope, solidarity and education. This initiative has touched the hearts of 33 families of the Official Educational Institutions Fonquetá and Fusca, thanks to the unconditional support of the parents and collaborators of Rochester School.
The objective of Shared Bread is aligned with some of the Sustainable Development Goals: SDG 2 - Zero Hunger, SDG 4: Quality Education and SDG 10: Reduced Inequalities. This is the April 2024 delivery, Seventh delivery of food products, which has been organized with great effort and dedication by Seventh Grade students, Social Service students and the FER Sustainability Team. The donated products bring food to the targeted families, to which the students of the bilingualism programs belong, with the purpose of guaranteeing a balanced diet.
This FER solidarity project is an example of teamwork, of how joint efforts can generate a significant impact on the community. Every gesture of solidarity, no matter how small it may seem, adds up to build a fairer and more equitable world for all. This project not only shares bread, it shares love, opportunities and hope.
Shared Bread is a way of showing that together we can achieve great goals and contribute to the lives of those who need it most.
