As you know, our main goal here at the LRC (Learning Resources Center) is to provide students with more books every day. We’re doing it! Last week, the first shipment from our new Scholastic Book Club made it all the way to Chia. It’s exciting to see these great English books delivered into the happy hands of this lucky first group of readers.
I know there’s one boy in First Grade who has been carrying his Pokemon book around school and everywhere he goes. The next club activity begins in mid-November, so we hope this group keeps growing and growing. Stay tuned for more reading news, coming soon.

Resumen: Como saben, el principal objetivo del CRA (Centro de Recursos para el Aprendizaje) es llevar más libros a las manos de nuestros estudiantes. ¡Lo estamos cumpliendo! La semana pasada, el primer envío de nuestro nuevo Scholastic Book Club llegó hasta Chía. Es emocionante ver estos fantásticos libros en inglés entregados a este afortunado primer grupo de lectores. Un estudiante de primer grado ha estado llevando su libro de Pokémon a donde quiera que va.
