Rochester School’s Sustainability Team wants to share with the community the video of the 1000 native trees we planted on March the 7th. We had the presence of various authorities and Rochester School became the first institution to carry out the #SembrarNosUne campaign. The planting was held in the Altagracia lot in Chía, Cundinamarca, where hundreds of people had the opportunity to contribute to the mitigation of climate change and its consequences. Rochester School, within its project “Plant trees, plant life” have planted so far 3600 native trees with the help of Chia’s Municipality.
Resumen: el equipo de Sostenibilidad del Colegio Rochester desea compartir con la comunidad el video de la siembra de 1000 árboles nativos que se llevó a cabo el pasado día 7 de marzo. Contamos con la presencia de diversas autoridades y el Colegio Rochester se convirtió en la primera institución educativa nacional en hacer efectiva la campaña #SembrarNosUne. La jornada se llevó a cabo en el lote Altagracia, donde cientos de personas tuvieron la oportunidad de contribuir a la mitigación del cambio climático y sus consecuencias. El Colegio Rochester, dentro del marco de su proyecto “Siembra árboles, siembra vida” ha venido realizando siembras desde el año 2019 de la mano del municipio, sumando a la fecha 3.600 especies nativas.
