Together with some 4th and 6th B students, we set the goal of creating a magazine where we could share with other people at school, those ideas, thoughts, reflections or experiences of our daily life. The name we chose was “2 meters of history”, yearning to break with the distance that marks this time of quarantine.
As a teacher, I tried to link the promotion of writing with different curricular activities that were linked to the learning of Spanish. Thus, we formed a work team to cover the design, proofreading and layout of our first publication.
We invite you to read this creative and ingenious first issue and to get involved in the next edition that will be released at the beginning of June.

Resumen: Junto con algunos estudiantes de 3° y 5°B, nos establecimos la meta de crear una revista en la cual pudiéramos compartir con las demás personas del colegio, aquellas ideas, pensamientos, reflexiones o vivencias de nuestra cotidianidad. El nombre que seleccionamos fue “2 metros de historia”, añorando romper con ese distanciamiento que nos marca este tiempo de cuarentena.
Como profesor, procuré enlazar la promoción de la escritura con diferentes actividades curriculares que estuvieran ligadas a los aprendizajes del área de Español. De esta manera, conformamos un equipo de trabajo que cubriera el diseño, la corrección y la diagramación de nuestra primera publicación.
