During this trimester in Library, our students in Kinder learned about the life and work of the Colombian author, Claudia Rueda, which was an ideal opportunity to connect with the Spanish Class.
Students learned such important skills as telling stories with their own words (The King of the Seeds), following the lead of the story and with the aid of illustrations, and they also explored the world of spontaneous writing, creating different ends to the story “What an Appetite the Fox Has”.

Resumen: Durante este trimestre los estudiantes de kinder trabajaron en clase de biblioteca sobre la vida y obra de la escritora colombiana Claudia Rueda, oportunidad ideal para conectar con la asignatura de español.
Allí, los estudiantes practicaron algunos aprendizajes como: narrar historias con sus propias palabras (El rey de la semilla), llevando el hilo de la misma y apoyándose en las ilustraciones; también exploraron con la escritura espontánea creando diferentes finales para el cuento “Vaya apetito tiene el zorrito”.
