6th grade students have been working on Extreme Weather events for the past two weeks and they have researched many characteristics related to hurricanes, tornadoes, floods and heat waves, including the actions we can take when we face this kind of weather. Students reported the weather using the vocabulary and the ways we can refer to future actions based on the extreme weather they might encounter. Also, students showed their empathy and kindness to the ideas and work of their classmates.

Los estudiantes de 5to grado han estado trabajando en eventos climáticos extremos durante las últimas dos semanas y han investigado muchas características relacionadas con huracanes, tornados, inundaciones y olas de calor, incluidas las acciones que podemos tomar cuando enfrentamos este tipo de clima.
Los estudiantes informaron sobre el clima usando el vocabulario y las formas en que podemos referirnos a acciones futuras en función del clima extremo que podrían encontrar. Asimismo, los estudiantes mostraron su empatía y amabilidad hacia las ideas y trabajos de sus compañeros.
