Our Kindergarten students have learned to solve addition and subtraction problems using different methods such as number bonds, ten frame, number line, finger counting, cubes and concrete material.
The students will take advantage of Pi day, Math Show and Tell, to present to parents, peers and teachers different ways to solve addition and subtraction as follows:
-Kinder A will demonstrate solutions using the ten frame and will have a bowling game. -Kinder B will use the number line to solve addition and subtraction. -Kinder C will play a game with UNO cards and problem solving with number bonds.
In addition to showing their logical-mathematical skills, they will be able to develop leadership and cooperation skills.

Resumen: Nuestros estudiantes de jardín han aprendido a solucionar problemas matemáticos de suma y resta usando diferentes métodos como number bonds, ten frame, number line, conteo con dedos, cubos y material concreto.
Los estudiantes aprovecharan el día de Pi, Show and Tell de Matemáticas, para presentar a padres, compañeros y profesores distintas maneras de resolver sumas y restas.
Además de mostrar sus habilidades lógico-matemáticas, podrán desarrollar destrezas de liderazgo y cooperación.
