In Unit 4 of Applied Mathematics, 7th Grade developed a project and had the opportunity to have fun while learning about similar figures. Students drew their favorite cartoons on a cartesian plane using points with specific coordinates. They then represented the same cartoon with a scale factor of 1/4 and a scale factor of 2, shrinking and stretching the cartoon according to the coordinates of the points. Resumen:En la Unidad 4 en Matemáticas, Sexto Grado desarrolló un proyecto y tuvieron la oportunidad de divertirse mientras aprendían sobre figuras semejantes. Los estudiantes dibujaron sus animaciones favoritas en un plano cartesiano usando puntos con coordenadas específicas. Luego, representaron la misma animación con una escala de 1/4 y una escala de 2, encogiendo y estirando la caricatura según las coordenadas de los puntos.
