Kinder students are learning to identify the type of clothing they can wear in each weather, such as a sunny day, a rainy day, when it is windy, and/or when it is snowing.
On Fridays of each week, different activities are organized according to the weather we are working in class. The first Friday was a rainy day; the students participated in a fashion show where they paraded their favorite outfits and also put into use the grammatical structure “I wear…”, complementing their ideas with vocabulary about clothes such as raincoats, rain boots, and umbrella.
They also participated in the rain simulation in the park and had a lot of fun.
The following Friday, they were exploring clothing for a sunny day. In one of the activities, the students chose a stencil and the color of paint to design their own shirts. They ended a sunny day with a picnic lunch at the park.

Resumen: Los estudiantes de jardín están aprendiendo a identificar el tipo de ropa que pueden utilizar en cada clima, tales como un día soleado, un día lluvioso, cuando hace viento y/o cuando cae nieve.
Los días viernes de cada semana, se organizan diferentes actividades de acuerdo al clima que estamos trabajando. El primer viernes fue el día lluvioso; los estudiantes participaron en un fashion show en donde desfilaron su outfit favorito y además pusieron en uso la estructura gramatical “I wear…”, complementando sus ideas con el vocabulario sobre las prendas, como rain coat, rain boots and umbrella.
También fueron partícipes de una simulación de lluvia en el parque y se divirtieron un montón.
El viernes siguiente, estuvieron explorando las prendas de vestir para un día soleado. En una de las actividades los estudiantes tuvieron la libertad de escoger un stencil y elegir el color de la pintura para diseñar sus camisetas. Terminaron el día soleado con un picnic de onces en el parque.
Próximamente los estudiantes conocerán y realizarán actividades relacionadas con otros climas.
